WIMAPHIL CEVRC held their General Assembly Membership on 5th March 2015 in Cebu.  The Assembly gave a strong induction for the new members to the challenges and opportunities of life at sea with lectures, presentations and workshops on health and livelihood opportunities, etc ..

Maritime Academy of Asia Pacific (MAAP) – Women Seafarer’s Association (MWSA)

MWSA, on its third year, hosted again its popular Self-Defence Training on the 14-15 March 2016 at the MAAP Gymnasium in Mariveles, Philippines. Midshipwomen and Midshipmen (Officer cadets) learned karate and arnis (Philippines martial arts technique with two sticks).  They practiced basic skills, techniques and moves to disarm weapons and defend themselves from attackers.
