Russian railway union focuses on youth

Students from railway universities across Russia gathered in St Petersburg last month to promote the students’ active involvement in trade union activities and to train youth leaders and potential trade union activists.

There are nine universities in Russia which train professional personnel for work in the country’s railway industry with students from them making up around seven per cent of membership to ITF- affiliated railway union ROSPROFZHEL.
